Converting Transparency to Check board in Adobe Photoshop

This tutorial is about converting the background-transparency to the checkerboard in Photoshop. Let’s start the steps.

1. Open Photoshop.
2.  Go to edit tab from the main menu. Roll the mouse over preferences and click on transparency from the fly-out menu.
3. A window will open.
4. Now, you can set the grid size and grid colors. I have selected the light grid colors. If you want to change the white and grey color combination, just click on the color box to change the required color.
5. Click ok and the red checkerboard will be set for transparency.
