Creating a Knob in Adobe Photoshop
In this tutorial, you will learn how to create knob in Adobe Photoshop with the help of different textures, layer style
Texture (used in the background)
Choose the #252525 color from the foreground then select the Paint bucket tool from the tool bar and click on the canvas.
I have downloaded the 2 rough textures image to give the different look of background Go to file > open > select the 1st texture > ok. Turn the opacity into 17%
Go to file > open > select the 2nd texture > ok, with the 34% opacity.
Draw a circle in the center of a canvas using the Elliptical marquee tool and hold the Shift key to constrain proportions, fill the circle with a dark color (#1c1f1d).
Make a new layer, draw another circle smaller then before with Elliptical marquee tool, fill the same color
Apply the following layer styles to the new circle to give it some depth.
Again make a new layer named shadow, draw a circle again smaller than the above circle, fill the darkest color with the 40 % opacity and drag the shadow layer under the 2nd circle.
Go to filter > Gaussian blur > hit the radius up to 7.2 pixels > press ok.
Merge both the shadow layer and again copy the layer, fill the light gray color, and again Go to filter > blur > Gaussian blur > hit the radius as under > ok. Turn the opacity up to 30% pixels
Again, Make a new layer; draw a circle by using Elliptical marquee tool from the tool bar, fill the #171917 color. Go to the layer style and change the following steps.
