Creating a Rocking Silhouette in Photoshop

In this tutorial you will learn, how to make rocking silhouette by using some effects and images which I have download, you can use your own downloaded images as you want it. I have chosen the black and white theme for defining the 50th century for rocking stars.

STEP 1

Open a new layer, Go to File > New > Hit the Height and Width as below > OK

STEP 2

Double click on the layer, tick the mark on gradient overlay option, and select the radical style, double click on the gradient.

STEP 3

Choose the color; choose black and white color.

STEP 4

Insert the floral design for the background with the 25% Opacity. Go to New > Open > Select the image > OK

STEP 5

Now insert the image of silhouette (as above).

STEP 6

Add a Layer Mask, Go to Layer > Add Layer Mask > Reveal All; (do this while having the silhouettes layer selected).
Select a large, soft brush and set the foreground color to black. While having the layer mask selected (click on it in the layers pallet), brush at the sides of the silhouette so it becomes soft / transparent.

STEP 8

Now we are adding little light in the background, Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Levels.

STEP 9

Copy the silhouette layer with the 38% Opacity.

STEP 10

Go to the Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur > Hit the number > OK

Final Result will look like this
