Effectively Replacing Sky in an Image

In this tutorial you will learn a technique of how to change/replace the sky or anything in a picture by using different tools & features provided by Adobe Photoshop. You only need to follow the below steps:

STEPS

STEP 1

Insert an image that you want to edit and replace the sky in it. Go to file > open > select the image > ok

STEP 2

Duplicate the layer,Layer > duplicate.

STEP 3

Now, with the help of magic wand tool, clear the sky area by clicking on it then press delete button

STEP 4

Insert the image of a sky, Go to file > open > select the image > ok.

STEP 5

Drag the sky image under the duplicate layer of a city with the 37% opacity

STEP 6

As you can see, the river needs the reflection of the sky, so duplicate the sky layer and drag it on the top of the layer and place it onto the river

STEP 7

Mask the duplicate sky layer and select the soft brush tool and erase the sky area that are overlapping image, make sure the foreground color is in black and white
