Turning a New Image into An Old One

In this tutorial you will get to know how to turn a new photo into an old one.

STEPS

STEP 1

Insert an image, Go to file > open > select the image > ok

STEP 2

Go to adjustment layer > hue/saturation

image

STEP 3

Now turn the image into black and white by hitting numbers in hue/saturation from properties

STEP 4

Now select both the layers > click left > select marge visible, duplicate the merge layer

image

STEP 5

Now we are going to blur the layer for getting little bit glow on it, Go to filter > blur > Gaussians blur, in 4.7 radius pixels click ok, switch the normal blending mood into overlay and turn the opacity up to 55%

STEP 6

Make a new layer for giving noise effect on the image, fill the black color in canvas, then Go to filter > noise > add noise, check the Gaussian and then monochromatic, hit the #298.85 amount of noise, press ok

STEP 7

By selecting noise layer, convert the blending mode in to soft light, 77% opacity

STEP 8

Make another layer for grain, fill the black color, and then Go to filter > filter gallery > texture > grain > intensity: #67, contrast: #80, grain type: vertical > ok

STEP 9

Now, convert the blending mood into screen
