HTML Forms

The forms in html are used in Web Site to take input from the user, the form contain multiple input elements which includes textbox, checkbox, text area, radio button, drop down, submit buttons and many more.

Textbox – Form element take keyboard input from the user.

<input type=”text” name=”email” value=”default”>

Password – User input is not shown is masked rather than in plain text.

<input type=”password” name=”userpass”>

Radio button – Allow the user to select one option from the given choices.

<input type=”radio” name=”radio” value=”rr”>

Checkboxes – User can select minimum one or multiple options from the given choices

<input type=”checkbox” name=”color” value=”aa”>

Reset –  Reset the form to the initial values.

<input type=”reset” name=”clearform” value=”Reset Form”>

Submit – Sent all the values to the server for processing or browser associated email program.

<input type=”submit” name=”passvalues”>

Button – Creates a button in the form without any predefined action.

<input type=”button” name=”submitpass” value=”"Login”>

Hidden – A control that user cannot see on from which Sends the hidden data to the server.

<input type=”hidden” name=”email” value=”sample@yahoo.com”>

Textarea – Creates multiline textbox on the form in which the message could be set by default or enter data.
